Gantz

So I bought my ticket for Gantz last night for the Marcus Cinema in Addison, IL. Never heard of the place? Me, neither. I just really wanted to avoid having to drive into Chicago during rush hour. I also despise trying to find parking in the city. But yes, I'll be driving ~2 hours to watch a movie. And as painful as it will be to watch it dubbed, I can't turn down the opportunity to watch Nino on the big screen.

I'll see you there. If you're looking for me, just look for the person making this expression

Sexy.

We should totally find each other before the movie. I need someone to cringe with about the dubbing. And then someone to squee with during the interview.

I'm going with a friend (and hopefully her boyfriend), so you should definitely sit with us!! The more people to ogle Nino with, the better!

I got mine from movietickets.com. I hear that Fandango also has tickets for sale now.

*sigh* Stupid night classes... I'd totally drive to Madison or IL to see Nino on the big screen, except for the first week of classes deal :/ I hope you have a great time, even though it's going to be dubbed.

Awww, that's too bad! On the up side, if this turns out well, they'll probably do the same thing for the 2nd movie. Hopefully, you can watch that one.

You know, I should've probably checked Madison 'cause I think it's a little closer, but I feel more comfortable driving to IL. I could probably do it in my sleep. I'm hoping I get off work early that day so I won't be rushing to the theater with no time to spare.

*fingers crossed* I really do hope the second movie both comes to the US and works out with my schedule. I think this is the only time I've been upset about having all night classes next semester - normally, it's a very convenient schedule!

Ahh, I was just looking at Gantz tickets myself. There is a theatre not too far away, but I'd have to figure out how to take the bus there and cringe through all the dubbing, so idk. But Nino on the big screen is really tough to pass up.

What I find interesting is that there's no places in Milwaukee to see it but it is available in Addison. Seriously, in my 14 years of living in IL, I've never heard of Addison. Mysteries of life.

Yay for Nino on the big screen!

I was totally shocked to see that I won't have to drive two hours to see it -- weirdly enough, it's supposedly showing at a theater in this smallish midwestern town with no Asian population to speak of and no culture to speak of. I am still not quite sure whether it's legit (would Fandango lie to me?), and if it is, I wonder if I will be the only person in the theater.

Odd. But good for you! I wonder if theaters in Milwaukee will pop up on the list as time goes on. I doubt you'll be the only one there, but if you are, it just means you have the whole theater all to yourself!

Movietickets.com doesn't list any theaters within 60 miles, on the other hand. I wonder which one I should believe...

Ah maybe I shouldd reserve mine too. Where did you see the list?

I searched on movietickets.com. I couldn't figure out how to work it out through the Fandango website, but I know some people have been getting their tickets there.

Fandango just added a theater that's 10-15 minutes from my house. Ahhh. XD But I'm sure wherever we go, there will be cringing. lol

I just checked Fandango and it seems they added Crystal Lake, which is much closer than Addison. Oh well... I guess I'll just be doing a lot of speeding trying to get to theater on time.

lol, just don't get caught, or you might end up missing the whole movie!!
